About Us

My name is Christine and I am the master brow artist and proud owner of Pristine Brows & Beauty Inc. My love of beauty began when I was 10 years old at my sister’s wedding. Something about having my hair and makeup done and the way it made me feel changed me that day, and an obsession was born. When I was 13 years old I remember begging my mom to spend her Saturdays’ driving me around from salon to salon until one of them agreed to let me work for them.

As soon as I was old enough, I enrolled in Cosmetology School and poured my heart and soul into the 1000 hour program learning all things hair, skin, makeup and nails. I believe every beauty professional develops their niche, and as much as I loved hair, it just wasn’t my thing. The first time I picked up a makeup brush it just felt so natural and it really allowed my artistic creativity to flow. From the get go I just understood faces and symmetry and had a burning passion to make each individual and unique woman look and feel her absolute best through enhancing her natural beauty.

After completing my hours and passing my state exams, I became a NYS licensed cosmetologist and have now been licensed for 12+ years. Directly following Cosmetology school I attended Makeup Designory (MUD), a prestigious Makeup Academy in NYC and completed their intensive 4 month program to receive my official Makeup Artist Certification. Throughout the course of the following years I did a lot of retail makeup sales, store and sales counter management, and ran a freelance makeup business on the side doing makeup for weddings and special events. I always continued my education along the way, learning from masters in the industry and even receiving my YSL Makeup Certification. During this time I was always fixated on the eyebrows, and their ability to make or break an entire look or makeover. The way that they frame the face, can instantly make a face look 10 years younger (or older) and how well they can enhance the entire structure of your face.

For this reason I felt the next step would be for me to complete a Microblading Course with PhiBrow Academy so I could learn how to master the art of giving women gorgeous eyebrows, (semi) permanently! The concept of “waking up with makeup” was a dream come true to me and I needed to learn the secret so I could share it with women everywhere.
